Curriculum
The Graduate School of Engineering currently runs a Master’s Program and an Integrated Masters-Doctoral Program. In the integrated program, there is an Advanced Engineering Course Program run jointly by each department within the Graduate School of Engineering, and an Interdisciplinary Engineering Course Program established by a higher education facility within the Graduate School. Students who complete the Master’s Program and pass the Doctor’s Course entrance exam are eligible to enter the 3-year Integrated Masters-Doctoral Program.
1) Department of Polymer Chemistry, Master’s Program
A master’s degree will be conferred to those who are enrolled in the Master’s Program and receive research guidance for at least two years, satisfy the required units for the Master’s Program as set out below, and successfully pass a master’s thesis review and examination. According to the Graduate School of Engineering guidelines and the Department of Polymer Chemistry’s directory of master’s course subjects, the following units must be satisfied.

3) Integrated Masters-Doctoral Program, Interdisciplinary Engineering Course Program
Staff members of the Department of Polymer Chemistry participate in the higher education Interdisciplinary Engineering Course Program in the “Material science & transformation science” and “Bio-medical engineering” fields. Students admitted to the Department of Polymer Chemistry who wish to study these fields can enrol in subjects in the Interdisciplinary Engineering Course Program. Please see the Graduate School of Engineering guidelines for further information regarding subjects offered through the Interdisciplinary Engineering Course Program.
